Margaux: I think I prefer the school system here because the classes are 45 minutes long instead of 55 minutes in France, so you are not waiting so much for the class to end. There are more and longer breaks between classes and the maximus ending time is 4 p.m. In France we usually finish at 5 p.m. or even at 6 p.m. The teachers do not give us much homework, but we spend our whole weekends doing it. And we have a lot of 2-hour blocks instead of 1-hour ones. But I think I prefer that we can bring our own lunch and heat it up at school at lunch time. Here there are a lot of facilities, e.g. for PE lessons we have to go somewhere else because we only have a small sports hall. However, I cannot understand how the classrooms are numbered here. It is way more logical in France.

Eléonore: I feel like the classes are very different. In France we have a lot more in one day and I think we also go a little faster. I think both of the school systems have good and bad things and I would say that the perfect school system is in the middle of the two. I like this school more because it is bigger for fewer students so you have more space and there are also more facilities like several sports halls and some school animals.

Isabella: I think this exchange is a wonderful experience! I did not really experience a culture shock, however, there are some noticeable differences between the two countries. The classes are not as long as ours and neither are your school days. You also change your shoes at school which we do not. Naturally, the languages are very different and we do not understand much, but it is fun to learn and hear such a different language. I also get along very well with my exchange student so every day is a fun day. I am very glad I got to do this exchange.
