Alena Horáková from 3. A4 undertook the task to describe our final day of our group mobility in Finland. Even though the journey had not been uneventful, it had still been quite smooth. So you are interested to find out more about our return back to the Czech Republic on 28th February, read on.
On Saturday, the day we were leaving Finland, we all got up around three o’clock in the morning.
At four o’clock, our Finnair bus departed from Turku
to the airport in Helsinki. We arrived at the aiport before half past six. We
all had some breakfast or a snack, checked in our luggage one by one (it was
done electronically without any help of the airport staff), and waited for our
flight, which was scheduled for half past nine.
to the airport in Helsinki.
We arrived in the Czech
Republic around half past eleven, but we circled above the
airport for a while because we could not land due to reduced visibility. It was
a bit nerve-racking but our landing was successful the second time. At
the main railway station in Prague, most of us bought some lunch and at a
quarter to two we boarded the train to Hradec Králové.
We reached Hradec Králové at three o’clock, but due to a railway malfunction, we had to wait on the train for another hour before we could continue our journey. So instead of arriving in Rychnov nad Kněžnou at four, we arrived at five o’clock. We were all really excited to finally be home. In the end, we took one last group photo together and said our final goodbyes.
