Means of Transport

In Holland they have the same means of transport as we have. They have cars, trains, buses... and they very often use bikes. They travel by cars with parents. Adults from villages go to work by cars. They travel by train for long distances. It’s cheaper for them. But children and mainly teenagers use bicycles. They go by bike to school, from villages to the cities, after their friends to have fun. They aren’t so much dependent on time. They needn’t every minute look at their watches and checkthe time when their train or bus comes. And of course they have better terms for cycling. They don’t have mountains andso many hills there. Holland is only lowland and flat land.

The Dutch mostly go on vacation about 1 or 2 times a year. Of course not everybody but most of them. People who go in winter holiday often go on a skitrip to France or Switzerland or Austria. In summer they are used to go to more warm countries like France or Spain or Greece. Rich people go to Egypt or more exotic countries.
